1. Can I request my own laboratory tests? |
 |

Patients cannot order tests themselves, but if you are interested in having a specific laboratory test performed, please ask your treating physician/doctor if the test is appropriate for you, and if he/she can order the test(s) for you. |

2. What types of tests does SRL perform? |

3. My doctor has ordered a lab test for me, and does not collect specimens in his/her office. How do I locate a Patient Service Center, where I can have my specimen collected? |

4. Do I need to make an appointment to have my blood drawn at a Patient Service Center? |
 |
| |
Appointments are not usually necessary; patients can walk-in to the nearest collection center or to our Main lab. It is recommended you bring your referring doctors prescription from your healthcare provider. Our Patient Service Centers/Collection centers and our laboratory is busy in the morning hours, when patients who are required to fast for testing often choose to arrive. Usually, it may take about 15-30 MINUTES for the collection of specimen/bill payment and receipt generation. |

5. Do I need to fast before having my specimen collected at a Patient Service Center? |

Some blood tests do require fasting prior to having your blood drawn. Please contact your referring doctor to determine his/her requirements for your specific testing. For Patient preparation for collection please attach Patient preparation (Appendix 4) |

6. How long does it take to receive test results? |
 |
| |
Depending on the test performed, most tests are completed and reported within 24 hours of receiving the sample for testing. Certain tests are run and reported on specific days,
the information for which is available in our Directory of Services. |

7. Can I receive a copy of my test results? |
 |
| |
All the patients? reports/results are made available to the patient service centers/collection centers as and when they are released. The reports can be collected from the respective centers where the patients specimens are received first. The reports are emailed or couriered to the collection centers/patient service centers and the patient s can collect the same. |

8. Can I see my test results online? |
 |
| |
If customer is requesting for online report facility at our main laboratory are provided with website password (accession specific) through which the results can be viewed online.
They can also collect their report from the main laboratory till 19:30 hrs.
